What is Gokai Kendo?
The "Gokai Kendo Club", is a group for individual Kendoka. We are focused on training and only training Kendoka in Brunei and ensuring that our members will be properly trained in the Martial art of Kendo
Does it have any affiliations with the other Kendo Federations/Alliance in Brunei?
Currently, we are not affiliated with either associations in Brunei and aim to be independant from those associations
If I'm from a School Kendo Club, can I join?
Yes! Especially from schools! One of our very first intentions was to make sure Kendoka from schools can have a place to train Kendo outside of their own school
What if i belong to another Kendo Association? Can I join?
Unfortunately, the Gokai Kendo Club s a seperate entity, and may not be allowed to train any registered member under the KFBD or KAB in Brunei without written consent from their respective organisations.
How much is registration? and how much per year??
At the moment, there is no registration process. The classes will be at $3 each per class.
Do i have to be at a certain level to join the classes? are there advanced classes?
Everyone must have a chance to train; that's our philosophy. We will try to organise the classes to the needs of the current members taking the class and at the same time raise the bar in their training.
When do we start??
Right away!! well, actually on Sundays 8am - 10am. These times and venue are subject to change. Or if you want some more classes please do request them at our face book group page, the members will try to accommodate each other.
